The Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Florida is currently seeking a Visiting Lecturer in Japanese language teaching. It’s a one-year position set to begin this Fall term 2015, and will include teaching up to three Japanese language courses per semester.

Requirements:

  • Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and English
  • M.A. or Ph.D. in Japanese or a related field (e.g. linguistics or comparative literature)
  • Experience in teaching Japanese in a post-secondary setting
