We are now accepting applications from US high schools for the 2018-19 Global Classmates program, our grant-covered 6-month virtual cultural and language exchange for high school students in the US and Japan.
Move beyond the textbook and provide an opportunity for your upper level Japanese language students to practically learn Japanese in a fun and exciting way, while making friends with Japanese teens in Japan, all from your classroom!

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville, FL, is exhibiting a collection of Japanese woodblock prints. They will be on display until November 25, 2018.

JETAA-FL will hold elections in March for members of our board. The following positions are open for nominations. Positions are elected for terms of 2 years. Please send in your nominations by March 22 with the election to be held March 23-30.
Secretary: Maintains organization records and meeting minutes
Treasurer: Maintains organization budget
Information Officer: Disseminates information to members through newsletter and social media

How did the JET Program impact your work and life path? Share your experiences at the JET30th Florida Reunion and Networker, a celebration of the JET Program’s 30th anniversary and alumna’s continuing contributions to the U.S.-Japan relationship. This event will be an opportunity to meet old and new friends in Florida with ties to Japan and various life and work experiences.
The program will include a panel discussion of JET and the US-Japan relationship, Career Development, and a networking hour. Brunch will be included!
Park Inn Hotel Special Rate Information: The rate is $74.00 per night + 13.5% occupancy tax. This will come with the waived resort fee.
